On average, mdbrain saved 90 seconds for the initial cohort and 75 seconds for the longitudinal cohort, which is approximately a third of the reporting time without AI support. The study also underscores the software's ability to maintain high interrater reliability, comparable to traditional methods, ensuring already proven accuracy while significantly speeding up the diagnostic process.<\/p><p>The AI technology not only automates lesion detection but also accurately differentiates lesion types, crucial for diagnosing and monitoring MS progression. The study proves how the integration of mdbrain helps radiologists to offer faster reportings of MRI images. This advancement is promising for the clinical management of MS, streamlining workflows and enabling quicker response times in treatment planning.<\/p><p>The authors emphasize that this study did not investigate the potential impact on the quality of findings. However, this is crucial for long-term development, as a reduction in reporting time is only beneficial if the quality of the reports is maintained.
