The consequences of an undiagnosed aneurysm can be potentially very serious due to the risk of cerebral hemorrhage upon rupture. In a <\/span>study<\/span><\/a> published at the end of 2022, the Aneurysm Detection module demonstrated a detection rate of 100% for therapeutically relevant saccular aneurysms (size <\/span>\u2265<\/span>\u00a0 5 mm) in the evaluation of TOF-MRA. <\/span>

<\/span>During development of our latest version, efficient training of the algorithm was made possible through the use of expanded training data, including fusiform aneurysms, and a revision of the AI-based algorithm. As a result, a significant improvement in the assessed (internal validation) metrics, such as F1 and DICE scores, compared to the ground truth, has been achieved.<\/span>

<\/span>Of course, the latest version was also tested on cases where there was a disparity in assessment between our users and our AI solution. Again, we achieved a significant improvement across all relevant metrics. <\/span>
<\/span>
<\/span>As with all products in the md-suite, all analyses are added easily into concise reports and are available in less than 5 minutes. The Aneurysm Detection module can be easily added for existing customers.
